Paderborn University’s Research Information System
Paderborn University's Research Information System (FIS) supports researchers every step of the way, from the initial idea to the final publication of their research results, including assistance with the digital third-party funding report. The system enables the centralised and standardised collection, connection, and management of research information, such as projects, publications, or patents. This way, the information can be utilised in a variety of ways and presented in a clear and effective manner.
Internal grants and awards
Turn your research ideas into reality with the help of institutional funding. Paderborn University also recognises outstanding research by awarding academic prizes. You can submit your research project for one of the various awards or funding schemes. Especially academics in the early stages of their careers can benefit from our attractive funding opportunities.
Committee for Research and Junior Academics
The Committee for Research and Junior Academics (FK) advises the Senate and the Executive Board on issues relating to research and the promotion of early career researchers. It is responsible for implementing the internal research funding programmes, which enable researchers to pursue various projects and endeavours. Additionally, the Committee offers guidance to our researchers on their applications for large-scale collaborative research projects with external funding bodies.
