Leibniz Science Campus Ruhr is a research collaboration focused on “Health care challenges in regions with declining and ageing populations”. Its aim is to analyse the causes and consequences of regional differences in health care, to derive policies to address the impending under-provision of health care and to evaluate selected measures to improve the efficiency of health-care provision. LSCR focuses on the three research areas: Regional Variation, Sustainable Supply, Nursing care for an ageing population.
