About Thorsten Auer
Since November 2025, Thorsten Auer is responsible for the project GesundheitsNavi in the field of Educational Psychology and Developmental Psychology under the direction of Prof. Dr. Heike Buhl. Prior to this, Thorsten Auer worked for Prof. Dr. Kirsten Thommes at the Chair for Organizational Behavior of Paderborn University from November 2018 to July 2024.. He completed his bachelor studies at the University of Hildesheim in the field of International Information Management. Afterward, he moved to Paderborn for his master's degree and completed the study program Management Information Systems. In the course of this study, he participated in the Asian Studies in Business and Economics (ASBE) program of the Faculty of Business Administration and Economics, which included a stay at Oita University in Japan. At the same time, he completed an additional bachelor's degree in Applied Sports Science in Paderborn.

Research Interests
My research interests comprise data-driven health literacy education, ethics in behavioral economics, and collaboration in organizations.
Using various quantitative research methods, I primarily investigate in the following areas:
- Corrupt behavior on the individual and organizational level
- Ethnic discrimination in the labor market
- Team processes and their effects on productivity and corporate health
- Methods for improving student health
